Hi, I’m Stella | Xueqi

Life has brought me travelling across seasons of quiet discipline and bold, personal reinvention.

My journey with Pipa began at thirteen, captivated by a thousand-year-old timbre that carried me from classical concerto stages into the structure of orchestral halls. Life eventually nudged me toward a deeper curiosity about what happens when ancient wood is set free into the modern world.

Over the years, through founding Two Four and Six Fusion, playing the pipa became less about preservation and more about genuine dialogue. From the Esplanade stage to intimate spaces alongside guitars, drums, and the meditative pulse of a handpan, every note has become a way to pay attention, bridging heritage with modern beats and letting sound articulate what words cannot.

Beyond that, I hold onto the belief that there are no creative limits. This platform is a space to keep exploring uncharted ground, letting the voice of the Pipa settle naturally into Lofi pulses, ambient soundscapes, and contemporary beats. Here, ancient melodies slip into modern, relaxed rhythms, creating an honest room where curiosity leads the way and tradition keeps finding fresh reasons to dance.
